With the use of real-life snowflakes, I am able to illustrate the story of the Good News of Jesus Christ. The story goes through the creation of life, the first sin of mankind, the saving grace of Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection, and our hope in eternity in Heaven with Jesus. The Bible says...
Now that the artic blast has left and warmer weather has emerged, I have spent some time looking through the snowflakes gathered during February. This month officially became my most photographed month ever! The snow didn't stop for days, and each day there were pictures to be taken. I loved the time outside and the peaceful snowfalls. God has been good in providing many beautiful snowflakes. He also blessed me with several that will be used in an upcoming book. One of my prayers for this snow season was to gather more specific snowflakes for that book. He answered my prayer. I am excited to begin working on another book draft that shows His everlasting love through His creation and one of my life's stories. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (KJV) Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. ... See MoreSee Less
We have had snow every day since Saturday. I have had the opportunity to enjoy many different snowflakes throughout the week. Yesterday afternoon as I was finishing up some flurry photos before dark, I cleared a spot on the patio. I looked up and said, "Okay, God. Just in case you would like a clean canvas for some new snowflakes for us tonight, I cleared a spot for You." Once the kids were off to bed and asleep, I took a final look outside. It was snowing, and I could tell from the little sparkles that God was designing on that patio canvas and calling for me to picture it. I was out as long as all my batteries could hold out. The snowflakes were amazing! God does such beautiful designs in such tiny items of His creation. I am so blessed to be able to picture these and share them with others. It was a very special spiritual time for me last night, actually every day this week. I know from glancing that some will be in my third book, which I am currently writing (book 2 will be out this year!). I love spending time in God's creation, and I love being able to share it with you. May God bless you this day and bring His peace and love upon you.

Last week, I was driving and listening to my old playlist of songs. The song, 'I Can Only Imagine,' came on the list. I sang as much as I could before the joy-filled tears started rolling. Every time I hear that song, I just can't help but allow my soul to imagine standing there with Jesus. I do long to be in His presence, worshipping, and living life in a perfect, untainted place. I long to be able to sit at the feet of Jesus and look up at Him as He teaches about everything we don't see here today. I do look forward to the moments of seeing His beauty in perfect, heavenly light. For today, I sit in my secret place here on this Earth imagining what those days will be like. I share the excitement in my heart with Jesus, and I look upon the beauty of this world to see Him evermore. We are blessed to have a God who gives us reminders of Him in tough times, and we are blessed to have a God who gives us an imagination that can take us from this world to the next. God is good. ... I love the promises that are tucked away in this verse. Very powerful reminders that God delivers us when we call upon Him. No matter what happens on this earth, He will always have a remnant of His people here. God is good all the time! May you be blessed by His grace and love this day through His amazing snowflake! ...
